     The key is to always find the personal story behind the facts because with that the student will connect!
 

  About the Workshop
Workshop instructor Gretchen Cryer holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English from Harvard University and an honorary Doctor of Arts from Eastern Michigan University.  Ms. Cryer is most well-known for writing and starring in the Broadway show "I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road" and for her work with American Girl, Inc. authoring “The American Girls Review” and "Circle of Friends" - two musicals currently playing in Chicago and New York City.  Prior to going into the theater, Ms. Cryer taught literature and drama to high school students and she currently teaches solo performance in New York City.  She is also a guest professor at Colorado College in the drama department. Ms. Cryer will be giving an In-class presentations to begin each workshop. Contact Minda at mhager@lifecentered.com for specific dates and locations. Sessions of the On-line portion of the course will begin following each of these presentations.

Completion of this course will earn two graduate level credit hours.  Credit is being provided by the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio.
