Reflective Journaling Assignment for Week One:

In your journal do some reflective thinking. Ask yourself these questions and any others you might consider to be relevant:

	What part of my own education did I see as ineffectual?
	What caused this?
	What could have been done to prevent this?
	Could I have been reached in this area by more freedom to connect it to other areas that I cared about?
	What do I do in my own classroom that makes information inaccessible to a portion of my students?

Post your most profound reflection on the discussion page. Make at least one comment on a classmate’s posting that you feel will be valuable for class dialogue. Read and discuss others’ comments and ask any questions you might have.
